Mungo (Yeh But)

Mungo and his paddock companion Tawn, were surrendered when their elderly owner couldn’t care for them properly anymore. Sadly Mundo hadi been lame in his hind since arriving which I put down to some arthritis. Sadly it wasn’t just arthritis and he had Degenerative Suspensory Ligament Disease which can’t be fixed nor managed without locking him in a box which we don’t want to do. It’s about quality of life in the end and this horse sadly wouldn’t have that if boxed for the rest of his life. It was a very sad outcome but sadly we do get many horses into care that are unfixable and Mungo is one of them.
