Music’s mother Melody, was rescued from the sales. We discovered she was in foal to a stallion named Freeze. Music was born in our care and for 6 months grew as a normal foal would. Music developed a very strange condition where her face appeared to be twisting and became partially paralysed. We had her admitted to the University Of Queensland vet hospital for tests but she continued to deteriorate. Eventually her mouth and tongue became affected and began to bleed and swell. The vets had no idea what was causing it or how to treat it and unfortunately we could not save her.
