Savi was saved from going to the knackery in emaciated condition with a filly foal at foot. She had been raced ($83,000 prize money) and had had 11 foals. She was a beautiful mare, friendly and easy to handle but had some trust issues. She hadn’t been ridden since racing. Unfortunately Savi took a fright and leapt through a post and rail fence and broke both front legs. She was euthanised as soon as a vet could arrive. RIP our beautiful girl..
