Trick was surrendered to SAHA skinny and with a degloved hind leg owners were unable to afford vet care for. We put effort into getting him healed and well, then gave him a break before starting work with him. Trick went to trainers as part of the OTT program for assessment under saddle, he proved to be anxious when other horses were in his vicinity. On advice from the retrainer, we decided to adopt only as a companion.
Trick requires a very experienced person as he can be quite pushy at feed time. Away from feed he is very placid and easy to handle on the ground. He does suffer with QLD itch, so he does require rugging and washing if adopted in an area that itch occurs.
