Born in good old 94 I like the finer things in life. Standing upon my hill looking over my domain. But you see it hasn’t always been this good, I was never meant to leave the knackery.

My fate was sealed as I stood in a dirt pen, with plenty of other horses all awaiting the same. SAHA arrived to pick up a mare and foal, but I had to try for the last time. I wouldn’t let them leave, I pushed my head into the door and made sure I stood in their way.

Eventually they decided that they couldn’t leave me there and they let me come to the sanctuary with them, at the last minute is was spared.

I started feeling not so good after a while in care, the wonderful SAHA carers got the vet to check me out. We found out that I suffer from Cushing’s disease and a bit of arthritis, I need to receive daily medication, so the girls think that I will get to spend the rest of my days here at the sanctuary.
