Surrendered from New South Wales in emaciated condition, Denver had no teeth and will never be able to eat hay again. His feeds had to be mushed up and he cleverly managed to eat by pushing food up against the stable door to try to keep it in his mouth! He was adopted by the same wonderful family who adopted Gumby. They were happy to prepare his mushy food and love him in his old age. Unfortunately Denver was diagnosed with cancer and passed away in May 2015. Loved and missed by his family and SAHA.
