Desiree was offered to SAHA by the dogger as she was thought to be in foal. She was taken to hospital as she was in quite poor condition. Her scan revealed she was in foal, however sadly a few days later she miscarried the foal. Amazingly, 11 months later, she gave birth to Pickles! A beautiful, healthy little chestnut colt. Tragically, when Pickles was 5 weeks old, Desiree was seriously injured when she reared and flipped over. Although emergency vet treatment was sought, there was nothing that could be done and Desiree was humanely euthanised.
