Duck came to us off the track. He is one of the favourites at the sanctuary and is quite the character. He was named Duck because of his quirky habit of quacking! Duck can be forward moving – he has a relaxed walk, expressive trot and forward canter. He is in the early stages of his training, however he has a soft mouth and does self carry. As he is young and in the early stages of his retraining he requires a confident intermediate to experienced rider. Once concentrating he works beautifully and would make a lovely all-rounder. Our rider who is not a jumper has popped him over some cavallettis which he seemed to enjoy. Duck has been adopted by an experienced home and will be a companion to another SAHA rescue.
