Stix injured her leg at the knackery and as a result went straight on the kill list but her injury turned out to be superficial. She arrived at the sanctuary with a very bad virus and chronic liver fluke. Her recovery was long, slow and painful with many bouts of high temperature. Stix has the most beautiful nature. She is easy to catch and do anything with. She is in the back paddock with the herd and she will walk up to anyone for a cuddle. She has the softest, sweetest nature but will hold her own and won’t get bossed around by the big ones too much. I truly believe with the right home she will excel in any discipline and will make a quiet, beautiful riding horse for someone once she is old enough. Stix needs an experienced, patient home who will continue her education.
