Trista (JA Stefani)

Trista came to SAHA with another mare Nikita, who was injured in a floating accident and the owner was financially struggling to afford ongoing care. She was getting a trainer out weekly to get these horses some education on the ground. This owner did the best she could for these 2 horses but didn’t have the experience necessary to help them progress forward so surrendered them to SAHA.

Trista is an Anglo Arab mare, and has a very matter of fact personality. She would be most suited to a home with good horse experience, and a kind and patient farrier as she is still learning to accept her hooves being done by someone other than our handler. With the right person Trista will flourish. Trista is roughly 16hh and a good doer in the paddock.
